EEOC Sues Meathead Movers for Age Discrimination

LOS ANGELES – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed suit against the San Luis Obispo moving company Meathead Movers, Inc., the largest independent moving company in California, for refusing to hire people based on age, the federal agency announced today.

The EEOC’s lawsuit charges that since at least 2017, Meathead Movers failed to recruit and hire applicants over 40 into moving, packing and customer service positions. Meathead maintains a pattern or practice

Riverwalk Post-Acute Settles EEOC Racial Harassment and Retaliation Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES –  Orange Treeidence OPCO, LLC, doing business as Riverwalk Post-Acute, Providence Group, Inc. (PGI), and Providence Administrative Consulting Services, Inc. Joe & The Juice Resolves Sex Discrimination Charge

LOS ANGELES – Joe & the Juice, a nationwide restaurant specializing in juice, coffee and sandwiches, has settled a federal charge of discrimination filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for $715,000 and other injunctive relief, the federal agency announced today.

According to the charge filed with the EEOC, since at least June 2017, Joe & the Juice failed to recruit, hire and promote females in their restaurants.
