PRC Industries Pays $400,000 to Settle EEOC Racial Harassment, Retaliation Lawsuit

RENO, Nev. — PRC Industries, Inc., an E-commerce remanufacturing company, will pay two former employees of its Reno, Nevada, location $400,000 and implement company-wide preventative measures to resolve a racial harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

EEOC Sues Meathead Movers for Age Discrimination

LOS ANGELES – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed suit against the San Luis Obispo moving company Meathead Movers, Inc., the largest independent moving company in California, for refusing to hire people based on age, the federal agency announced today.

The EEOC’s lawsuit charges that since at least 2017, Meathead Movers failed to recruit and hire applicants over 40 into moving, packing and customer service positions. Meathead maintains a pattern or practice

EEOC Sues Tesla for Racial Harassment and Retaliation

FREMONT, Calif. – Electric car maker Tesla, Inc., violated federal law by tolerating widespread and ongoing racial harassment of its Black employees and by subjecting some of these workers to retaliation for opposing the harassment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Riverwalk Post-Acute Settles EEOC Racial Harassment and Retaliation Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES –  Orange Treeidence OPCO, LLC, doing business as Riverwalk Post-Acute, Providence Group, Inc. (PGI), and Providence Administrative Consulting Services, Inc. (PACS), have agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleging racial harassment and retaliation, the federal agency announced today. Job Seekers Not Hired by Radiant Services in Gardena May Have Suffered Discrimination, EEOC Says

LOS ANGELES -- On Sept. 13, 2022, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles against the commercial laundry facility Radiant Services Corp. for discouraging and denying equal job opportunities to Black, Asian and white workers by failing to recruit, hire or staff its workforce with non-Hispanic workers. ENCINITAS, Calif. – Swami’s Café and Honey’s Bistro, a chain of casual counter and table-service restaurants, violated federal law by allowing a class of female employees to be subjected to sexual harassment and retaliation, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Joe & The Juice Resolves Sex Discrimination Charge

LOS ANGELES – Joe & the Juice, a nationwide restaurant specializing in juice, coffee and sandwiches, has settled a federal charge of discrimination filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for $715,000 and other injunctive relief, the federal agency announced today.

According to the charge filed with the EEOC, since at least June 2017, Joe & the Juice failed to recruit, hire and promote females in their restaurants.
