MIAMI – Kristen M. Foslid, a 14-year attorney with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), was appointed regional attorney for EEOC’s Miami District effective April 21, the federal agency announced today.

As regional attorney, Foslid will lead the district’s legal unit, conducting trial litigation and providing legal advice and other support to district staff responsible for investigating charges of discrimination.

Hobe Sound Nursing Home Operators to Pay $67,500 to Settle EEOC National Origin Discrimination Lawsuit

MIAMI – Florida Care ALF of Amelia Island, Inc., located in Ferdinand Beach, Florida, violated federal law when it fired an employee because she was pregnant, the U.S. Equal Employment Oppor­tunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Tamra Schweiberger Selected as New EEOC Tampa Field Office Director
