Registration Is Now Open for EEOC's Columbus EEO Training Seminar

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Field Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency responsible for enforcing laws against employment discrimination, announced that registration is now open for its one-day EEOC Technical Assistance Program Seminar (TAPS). The seminar will be held on Nov. 13, 2019 at Quest Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Attendees will learn about the latest developments in EEO law and workplace best practices directly from the experts. This seminar will feature EEO updates about recent court cases that can impact organizations, LGBT rights and best practices, unlawful harassment, how social media can impact the workplace, mediation and retaliation. Additionally, Ohio Continuing Legal Education (CLE), Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Federal Investigator Refresher credits will be requested.

"We are excited to have this year's seminar in the Columbus area," said Cleveland Field Office Director Cheryl J. Mabry. "We encourage everyone to register early to ensure that no one misses it."
