Notice

Please be advised that due to the current health situation, EEOC's Field Offices have temporarily stopped conducting in-person intake interviews. If you have previously scheduled in-person intake appointment, your appointment will be changed to a telephone interview. The office will not accept walk-ins at this time.

You are encouraged to visit the EEOC Public Portal (https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/) to schedule an intake appointment by telephone. The system can also be accessed by going directly to our website at https://www.eeoc.gov/.
 

If you are near a filing deadline (at least 180 days but generally 300 days) please call 1-800-669-4000.
 

For individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, you can reach EEOC by videophone at 1-844-234-5122. If you have a disability which prevents you from accessing the Public Portal or you otherwise have difficulty with accessing the portal, please call 1-800-669-4000.

Due to health concerns about COVID-19, the EEOC is limiting face-to-face contact with the public. We will continue to communicate with the public and parties to charges of discrimination, litigation and federal complaints via telephone and e-mail.  

If you believe you have been subjected to employment discrimination, please access the online Public Portal here.  You will be asked to answer a series of questions about your employment situation, and where applicable, be directed to schedule a telephone interview with an investigator.  You must have access to the internet and an e-mail address to use the Public Portal.

If you have a disability, are unable to access the Public Portal or otherwise have difficulty with the Portal, please e-mail digitalsupport@eeoc.gov or call (414) 662-3680 for assistance.  Please say and spell your first and last name, the number where you can be reached between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., provide an e-mail address if you have one and a brief description of the issue you are having.

Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, all interviews will be conducted by telephone.  Please do not report to the office in person.  You will be contacted at the telephone number you have provided.

Individuals who are unavailable at their scheduled telephone appointment times must respond to voicemail messages within 15 minutes or their appointments will be rescheduled.

Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but as noted above, for health and safety reasons, the District is limiting face to face contact with the public.
