Please be advised that, you have the option to schedule a telephone interview, an interview by video with an EEOC representative, or an in-person interview at our office.  Individuals who come into the office without an appointment will be screened for appropriate follow-up. Scheduling an interview is strongly recommended and individuals with appointments will be given priority.

There are strict deadlines for filing a charge of discrimination, please review the information in the timeliness tab or call 1-800-669-4000. 

For individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, you can reach EEOC by videophone at 1-844-234-5122. If you have a disability which prevents you from accessing the Public Portal or you otherwise have difficulty with accessing the portal, please call 1-800-669-4000.

The Miami District Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for Federal holidays.

Although walk-ins are accepted, scheduling an interview is strongly recommended, and individuals with appointments will be given priority. We encourage you to schedule an interview through our online public portal. To submit an inquiry and schedule an appointment for an interview, please use the online public portal at https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/portal/. The system can also be accessed by going directly to our website at www.eeoc.gov. Scheduled appointments take priority, and walk-ins may or may not be seen based upon staff availability. Individuals who are close to the statute of limitations (300 days to file) will be given priority.

Our office will be available for walk-ins from Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 PM . If you choose to visit our office as a walk-in, we encourage you to come as early as possible. Please make sure you arrive before 1:30 p.m on Monday thru Thursday, and by 11 a.m. on Friday as the initial intake process generally takes one hour to complete.
