DAYTON, Ohio – National hotel giant Red Roof Inns, Inc. violated federal law when it refused to promote an employee because of his visual impairment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Walmart, Inc. to Pay $20 Million to Settle EEOC Nationwide Hiring Discrimination Case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Walmart, Inc. will pay $20 million, stop using a pre-employment test, and furnish other relief to settle a companywide, sex-based hiring discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employ­ment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

EEOC Sues Menard, Inc. for Sexual Harassment

DETROIT – Menard, Inc., which operates over 300 Menards home improvement stores in 14 states, violated federal law by subjecting female employees to sexual harassment at its Wixom, Mich., location, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.
