Mathew Cleman

Investigator, Seattle Field Office and Labor Member, San Francisco District Labor-Management Forum

Meeting of March 20, 2013 - Development of a Quality Control Plan for Private Sector Investigations and Conciliations

Mathew Cleman has been an investigator with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission since 1990. He is employed in the Seattle Field Office.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Whitman College. Matt is also a certified mediator. Matt has been recognized four times for outstanding public service by the Seattle Federal Executive Board.

In 2007, Matt received advanced interview-skills training at the National Investigative Interviewing Training Program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at Glynco, Georgia.

Matt presented a training module entitled "Conducting an Effective Interview" at EEOC headquarters as part of New Investigator Training and ISA training multiple times in 2009 and 2010.

Matt served two terms as steward in the Seattle Field Office, from 2007 to 2011. He continues to serve as a labor member of the San Francisco District Labor-Management Forum.
