EEOC v. Lowe's Home Centers, Inc., Lowe's HIW - Settlement

The United States District Court for the Central District of California has approved of a settlement entered into between the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (the "EEOC") and Lowe's Home Centers, Inc. or Lowe's HIW ("Lowe's"), resolving EEOC's nationwide disability discrimination lawsuit against Lowe's.

If you were employed by Lowe's Home Centers, Inc. or Lowe's HIW, Inc. and terminated between January 1, 2004 and May 13, 2010, after having taken the maximum amount of leave then available under Lowe's leave of absence policies, you may be eligible to receive money from the settlement.  Please go to www.loweseeocsettlement.com, email lowes.settlement@eeoc.gov, or call 1-855-725-4456 for more information on how to complete a claim form.

Please do not contact this dedicated phone number or e-mail address unless you were terminated by Lowe's between January 1, 2004, and May 13, 2010, for exceeding the maximum amount of leave then available.  If you want advice or have a claim concerning any other employer or respondent covered by EEOC you can contact an EEOC field office, or call toll-free 1-800-669-4000 (or TTY 1-800-669-6820), or email us at info@eeoc.gov.
