Linda Bradford-Washington

Ms. Bradford Washington was appointed to this position in April 2007. She serves as the Principal advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary on matters that pertain to HUD's Equal Employment Opportunity Program. She manages, administers and coordinates all the activities and policy issues of the EEO Programs servicing over 8000 employees nationwide.

She previously served as the HUD Alternative Dispute Resolution Program Director. She also served as the Senior Alternative Dispute Resolution Specialist for the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). She established and implemented the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's award winning Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. The former Attorney General Janet Reno and the former Office of Personnel Management Director, Janice Lachance publicly acknowledged the Treasury ADR Program she managed as the outstanding ADR Program of the year. The BEP Program was one of three Federal agencies selected as the winner of the first annual Office of Personnel Management Director's Award for Outstanding ADR Programs, out of 49 national nominees.

Ms. Bradford Washington is an experienced negotiator, facilitator, mediator, ombudsman, and trainer. She is the founder and previous administrator of the Treasury Program on Sharing Neutrals, which provides mediation services for over 175,000 Treasury employees. Ms. Bradford Washington provides mediation services for the Department of Health and Human Services Shared Neutrals Program and she served as a member of the Federal Interagency ADR Working Group Steering Committee. She is a member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Work Group focusing on issues concerning the AAPI community in the federal sector. She is also a member of the National Association of Female Executives and the Association for Conflict Resolution. Ms. Bradford Washington received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Bowie State University.
