Please be advised that due to the current health situation, you have the option to schedule an in-office interview which will be conducted by video using EEOC office equipment or schedule an interview by phone. Individuals who come into the office without an appointment will be screened for appropriate follow-up. Scheduling an interview is strongly recommended and individuals with appointments will be given priority. 

You are encouraged to visit the EEOC Public Portal (https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/) to schedule an intake appointment by telephone or an in-office interview which will be conducted by video using EEOC office equipment. The system can also be accessed by going directly to our website at https://www.eeoc.gov/.

There are strict deadlines for filing a charge of discrimination, please review the information in the timeliness tab or call 1-800-669-4000.

For individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, you can reach EEOC by videophone at 1-844-234-5122. If you have a disability which prevents you from accessing the Public Portal or you otherwise have difficulty with accessing the portal, please call 1-800-669-4000.

Hours of operation for the Denver Field Office are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please be advised that due to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), the Denver Office is teleworking and has temporarily transitioned to a 100% telephonic intake interviews. The Denver Field Office will not conduct walk-in interviews during this time. Please initiate an inquiry and schedule an appointment via the EEOC Public Portal at https://publicportal.eeoc.gov.



To begin the intake process, use the online system at https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/portal/ to initiate an inquiry and schedule an appointment for an interview. You may also access the online system by going directly to our website at www.eeoc.gov. Click on the link under the “How to” area titled “File a charge of employment discrimination.” Then, click on the link “EEOC Public Portal.”

Please note that individuals with scheduled appointments will be given priority over those without scheduled appointments.

You are encouraged to go the website to obtain information about agency jurisdiction and the charge filing process.


La Oficina de la EEOC en Denver está abierta de lunes a viernes desde las 8:00 de la mañana hasta las 4:30 de la tarde; la Oficina está cerrada los fines de semana y todos los días feriados del Gobierno Federal. Las entrevistas de intake se realizan todos los días, excepto los miércoles, entre las 8:00 a.m. y las 3:00 p.m.

Se recomienda que Ud. visite nuestra página de Internet de la EEOC para obtener información sobre la agencia y cómo presentar un cargo de discriminación. Aunque le atendemos al público durante nuestro horario regular, recomendamos firmemente que se haga una cita individual. En la oficina se les dará prioridad a las personas que tienen citas de entrevistas de intake. Las entrevistas de intake tienen que empezar antes de las 3:00 de la tarde. Se puede completar un cuestionario y hacer una cita para una entrevista de intake por medio de nuestro portal público en el Internet.
