Michael Campion

Professor, Purdue University

Meeting of July 15, 2009 – Age Discrimination in the 21st Century-Barriers to the Employment of Older Workers

Michael A. Campion has been a Professor of Management at Purdue University for the last 23 years. Previous industrial experience includes 8 years at IBM and Weyerhaeuser Company. He has an MS and PhD in industrial and organizational psychology. He has over 100 articles in scientific and professional journals, and has given over 200 presentations at professional meetings, on the full range of topics in industrial psychology and human resource management. He is among the 10 most published authors in the top journals in his field for both the last two decades. He is past editor of a scientific research journal and past president of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He manages a small consulting firm that has conducted over 400 projects for over 100 private and public sector organizations during the past 22 years on a broad variety of topics, including expert testimony in employment discrimination cases (several for the EEOC).
