EEOC EdCon: About Us

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) EEO Education Consortium (EdCon) is a nationally recognized professional network of equal employment opportunity (EEO) practitioners and stakeholders that provides professional development across the EEO spectrum. EdCon provides innovative EEO and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) programs. EdCon also forms collaborative interagency partnerships to develop and share leading practices, resulting in a more inclusive and equitable workforce.

Our Mission

EdCon aims to improve performance and compliance, reduce process delays, and improve EEO compliant satisfaction. Promoting these practices help advance the EEO mission of Federal agencies to foster a more inclusive and equitable workforce.

Our Vision

EdCon will advance high standards of practice and professionalism among equal employment opportunity (EEO) practitioners and stakeholders through training and information sharing. EdCon will also collaboratively develop EEO outreach materials and other educational curricula on EEO best practices. Finally, EdCon will develop a network that fosters communication and continued professional development across all sectors of the EEO community.

Through collaborative efforts, an expanded goal of EdCon is to provide access to resources. This includes events and materials. that support diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) initiatives across the Federal workforce. Edcon will use a repository and calendar to highlight training dates, workforce development materials, training, and more from various Federal agencies.
