Please be advised that, you have the option to schedule a telephone interview, an interview by video with an EEOC representative, or an in-person interview at our office.  Individuals who come into the office without an appointment will be screened for appropriate follow-up. Scheduling an interview is strongly recommended and individuals with appointments will be given priority.

For individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, you can reach EEOC by videophone at 1-844-234-5122. If you have a disability which prevents you from accessing the Public Portal or you otherwise have difficulty with accessing the portal, please call 1-800-669-4000.

The Norfolk Local Office is open to the public for walk-ins Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Individuals who come into the office without an interview appointment will be screened for appropriate follow-up. If staffing levels permit, walk-in interviews may be available in certain circumstances, but scheduling an interview is strongly recommended. Individuals with appointments or with an imminent filing deadline will be given priority. If you arrive more than fifteen minutes late to your appointment, you will be considered a walk-in, and we may not be able to see you that day.

The Norfolk Local Office is located in the Federal Building at 200 Granby Street, Suite 739, Norfolk, VA 23510. Please bring a government issued ID to access the building through our security screening area. Paid parking is available near the building at MacArthur Mall or metered street parking.
