EXCEL 2023 will be in-person and will run July 30-Aug. 2 at the Marriott Marquis hotel in Washington. The theme for this year’s conference, “Marking Milestones: Looking Back, Moving Forward,” commemorates significant anniversaries in 2023, such as the 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington, the passage of the 1963 Equal Pay Act, as well as the new Pregnant Workers Fairness Act.

Conference details including accommodations, agendas, pricing, and exhibitor registration, are available at EXCEL 2023. To sign up for email updates, join the mailing list at: https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/USEEOC/subscriber/new?topic_id=USEEOC_116.

The annual EXCEL conference is for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) specialists, attorneys, and EEO and HR professionals at federal agencies, state and local governments, and in the private sector.

Attendees will learn about the latest developments from leading experts. The pre-conference and workshop sessions will cover emerging topics like the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, successful return to work practices, and strategies on harassment prevention, workplace inclusion, and settlements. Additionally, the conference will offer continuing education credits for HR Certification Institute (HRCI), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Continuing Legal Education (CLE).

EEOC advances opportunity in the workplace by enforcing federal laws prohibiting employment discrimination. Additional information about the agency can be found at www.eeoc.gov and by subscribing to our email updates.
